On 5 April 2018, we hosted MECC Wi Chat, a casual get-together involving staff, clients and others at the Centre's offices. On top of talking and eating together, we enjoyed a "Journey with Educatours" presentation. Kadeem Petgrave and Simier Lansend took us from their origins to the current success they enjoy today.

Mona Business Support Services is proud to host An Entrepreneurial Journey with Kirk-Anthony Hamilton. Taking place on September 8, 2017 at the UWI Mona Senate Building, he will share his entrepreneurial insights and expertise cultivated over a decade in the Caribbean and the United States.
Over thirteen years, Hamilton has consulted with or otherwise worked with Mirsand Architects Ltd, Star Island Bahamas, hospitality firm WATG, and Keystone Augusta Inc. He himself founded Greenstar Universal in 2004 and the Infiniti Partnership in 2014. For his successes and contributions, he was selected as one of 75 worldwide entrepreneurs to be honoured at the US President's Global Entrepreneurship Initiative in 2015, and was one of 50 Global Shapers to participate at the World Economic Forum in January 2016. Though based in Miami, Hamilton organizes Tech Beach Retreat, an annual tech entrepreneurship conference connecting Caribbean, North American and European firms and investors.

The Hub, an open and low-cost coworking space for entrepreneurs in the Kingston area, is hosting Julian Lynch's digital marketing seminar on May 25, 2017. Using his experience in online marketing and advertising, Lynch will present key strategies to improve digital marketing campaigns and gain larger returns as a result. He currently runs Trend Media, a Caribbean digital advertising and media outlet based in Jamaica.
Mona Business Support Services (MBSS) and the Jamaica Business Development Corporation (JBDC) are to host a Digital Marketing Workshop on April 27, 2017 from 2pm to 4pm. Sashell Mckoy, JBDC's Digital Marketing Business Development Officer, will present an introduction to digital marketing, and explore specific tools such as Google AdWords, search engine optimization (SEO), social media, email marketing, content marketing, and website development.
